Marian Kuffa, a charismatic parish priest and a man of action, with “his children”– former convicts, the homeless and drug addicts, has embarked on his most difficult mission. He has decided to help the poorest Roma to survive cold and biting frost in their modest, hastily built dwellings. “Don’t love people according to their merits but according to their needs,“ runs motto of Kuffa. He has been helping people living at the fringe of society for the past 20 years. With "his children" he built a new home for handicapped seniors, single mothers, battered children and former prostitutes. They all passed through hell and found a new hope. In their farm they raise horses, grow grain, bake bread, make wooden toys; they mastered building trades. But not every story has a happy ending. We trace the stories of Marian Kuffa and several main characters from the Roma settlements for over 3 years. A story of courage, power of humanity and love.
